Sangiovese, Merlot and other grapes
Terra Antica offers a wide range of wines in which every lover will find his favourite.
The vineyards are at the end, especially during the peak of the season. The collections are strictly handmade in a period that can go from September to October. When the wine leaves the vat, it is separated from the marc and finally left to rest in wooden barrels, barriques or tonneaux, a second type of wine, for a minimum of two years. Noble and three years for Riserva Terra Antica adopts the technique of cold sterile bottling.
Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet are the real "gems" of the vineyards of Terra Antica. Rosso di Montepulciano DOC and Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG have been mixing the grapes of these famous wines.
Unione Italiana Vini, Chamber of Commerce and Consortium of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano are the certification bodies for the high quality of our wines, which are subjected to rigorous organoleptic checks until bottling.
The annual production of Terra Antica consists of almost 15,000 bottles, of which 30% is Red and 70% is Nobile; during the last year, part of the production of Nobile is set aside for the production of Riserva. Our products are available in the Italian and European market and have been exported to the United States and the Far East.
For the production of Grappa di Vino Nobile, Terra Antica uses the marc (skins and grape seeds), which are separated from the must and sent to the Bonollo distillery.

The olive tree is an ancient and long-lived tree, which comes from the Caucasian area. It arrived in Tuscany during the VII century A.C., where it found the perfect climate and environment to grow.

Terra Antica produces 100% organic olive oil
Terra Antica uses organic and sustainable agricultural practices that ensure minimum environmental impact.
Two hectares of our land, but there will soon be many more, are dedicated to the cultivation of indigenous olives, Frantoio, Moraiolo and Leccino. In November, the best olives are rigorously harvested by hand and promptly taken to the mill to keep all their properties.
The olives are rigorously cold-pressed to produce our exquisite extra virgin olive oil and its superior quality is measured according to the organoleptic parameters set by the European Community. The Olive oil is stored in dark glass bottles to ensure perfect preservation.
Terra Antica produces over a thousand bottles of olive oil per year.
